This action-adventure series takes place in the mysterious world of ancient Egypt. Five years into his prison sentence, master thief Ambrose is called upon by Pharaoh Shai Kanakht when a dangerous scroll is taken from Egypt's most secure vault. While the young ruler displays a cool charm, he has a violent temper. As Ambrose's investigation takes him in and out of the palace, he has encounters with people from his past -- including Peshet, his long-lost love, and Vocifer, his mentor and a peddler of mystical wares.
