08/20/2020 I was looking forward to watching this series and I was not disappointed! I thought it may be hard to expand from the first series, but the show exceded my expectations. Once again, John Flaus and Terry Norris put me in tears as the old farts at the bar, but I was saddened to hear that Ronald Falk had passed away and the tantalising trio had reduced to a dynamite duet. The Indian scenes were wonderful but once again, the Melbourne and Victorian scenes took the cake. Incorporating some of Melbourne's most famous places like Caulfield Racecourse and Queen Victoria Market gave it a fine Australian touch. Combining crime, drama and comedy must be a difficult script to write, but this one was exceptional. The script was far more tidier that series one and the Aussie slang was in full voice. I appreciated that improvement. The show ended on a high, so might be worth leaving it as is. I wouldn't want the integrity of the show doubted over a series that doesn't need to happen.
