It's formulaic as hell, but at least the series has mastered its formula.

For his part, Scott does what the series asks of him.

In the Same Boat" had the deck stacked against it, but it surprisingly managed to provide a story that honored Riggs while believably moving Murtaugh into a new space

Sep 26, 2018 | Rating: 8.3/10 | Full Review…

A very strong premiere that finds the right balance between grief and action. It's a very encouraging start to the season and it handles the difficult task of not only introducing a new cast member, but also putting an old one to rest with extreme skill.

Lethal Weapon didn't create Cole as a Riggs 2.0, and it should be fun to see how his dynamic with Murtaugh differs from Riggs'.

I love it so much alot

Sean William Scott is fantastic and the show is an absolute blast.
  • Jul 07, 2020
It was a shock when the main star was "released" from his contract. But let's be honest here Sean William Scott is not only a better actor but played a better character! I much preferred season 3 and I am truly gutted there is no season 4! I really hoped Netflix or Amazon would of taken this project on. I mean they have taken on some really bad decisions I think they are due a good new show.

This was one of the greatest cop shows I've watched. It's a shame they cancelled it
  • Mar 08, 2020
You cant kill off the main character after 2 full seasons of him. Season 3, 1st episode made me yawn. No one wanted to see "Cole" or see his "backstory" of a boy dying in Afgan. Who cares?
  • Dec 20, 2019
It wasn't bad, it was just not as good as the first two seasons. Riggs replacement was good but nothing can replace the legend riggs.
  • Nov 20, 2019
I like sean but what kind of tv show fire is main star!!!
  • Sep 28, 2019
Season 3 was the best too bad it got cancelled. But to be honest glad they ended it before they ruined it by making it go on to long.
  • Sep 28, 2019
Seasons 1 and 2 had me hooked until the last episode, then I was surprised to see a third season? Tried watching it and watching Riggs replacement was sad. They had him mimic some mannerism like the thumbs up, had him act careless and unhinged like Riggs, he lives in motel instead of trailer? I mean c'mon, if you're gonna kill someone off, let them go. This show is done, let it die.

Seasons 1&2 were amazing. Season 3 was horrible. I can't even waste the breath to detail all the is wrong with it. Put this awful thing out of its mystery.
