It became... nothing more than a Hayley Atwell vehicle that let everything else from production value to narrative importance fall to the wayside if it meant the show's lead actress getting in just one extra spunky line of dialogue. Sabih A @RT57875922 11h Does its job Season 2 is slightly higher rated for me, but I still prefer Season 1's overall story, despite Season 2 having the stronger ending. The show stays consistently enjoyable, with Jarvis remaining a highlight, and his wife is a fun addition. The villain and overall cast are solid. I wish Howard Stark had a bigger role, and the ending wasn't what I expected from an Agent Carter series. Peggy doesn't change much, but the implied connection between her and Sousa in Endgame is a nice touch. In short: A consistently good Marvel show with likable characters, a strong ending, and an entertaining cast, even if it doesn't fully capitalize on its premise.
