The worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division) employs an elite team of agents who investigate strange occurrences around the globe and beyond. Its members -- each of whom brings a specialty to the group -- work to protect those who cannot protect themselves from extraordinary and inconceivable threats, including a formidable group known as Hydra. The series is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and acknowledges the continuity of the franchise's films and other television series.

Well that's it, season 4 is over and, for me, without a doubt ends the strongest season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to date. This was also the first place that the MCU directly decanonized Agents, as originally WandaVision seemed to imply a singular Darkhold that Agatha Hardness has had for centuries. Robbie Reyes co-starring as the titular character of the Ghost Rider arc, Mallory Jansen doing the same as Aida for the LMD arc, and the final Agents of Hydra arc that rounds it all out and revives multiple characters I know I had sorely missed, create a powerful story and a perfect leadup to what many consider the shows best season.
