Restaurateur and famed TV chef Mario Batali treats special guests to personalized meals in a Brooklyn kitchen on this series. He invites his friends, who often also happen to be celebrities, to enjoy dishes made with ingredients sourced straight from the garden. In addition to preparing the food, Batali partakes in conversations and some antics with his friends. Although Batali's menus are often inspired by the episode's guests, he puts in an Italian twist, paying homage to the cuisine that is the chef's specialty.
