On an adventure, brothers Wirt and Greg get lost in the Unknown, a strange forest adrift in time. A wise old woodsman and bluebird Beatrice help them find their way. Along the way, Wirt's thoughts envelope him, while the wonder of the surroundings preoccupy Greg. The miniseries -- based on creator Patrick McHale's cartoon short "Tome of the Unknown" -- features animation that evokes a nostalgic storybook feeling, inspired by folk art and classic illustrations. The voices include Elijah Wood and Christopher Lloyd with Samuel Ramey, Chris Isaak and John Cleese among guests.

rtst B. @ARTISThaha May 24 This is now my favorite show See more Julie V. @CaptainCrazyThe2nd May 23 Please just watch it, it’s so peak 🥹 See more Damon G @DLGang May 9 There are 5 episodes of "Over the Garden Wall" on Amazon Prime. I watched episode 1 which had 2 chapters. The animation itself was done ok. The story telling was ok. The setting was an eerie-ish forest around the Fall season. This was listed in comedies but wasn't very funny. It was cute and somewhat entertaining. It was slow enough that me and my wife didn't go to the second episode. If we watch more of the series I'll come back and possibly edit this review. See more MARCELA M @RT14679295 Apr 22 It’s a wholesome experience filled with horror and uncertainty. If you give it the chance of watching it, even after years passed you’ll still remember that strange sensation that flowed through your veins at every scene that passed. The characters are well written, from the moment they appeared they give a relatable background in which two brothers have to find a way out of the unknown, but slowly starts to turn in a living nightmare with creatures that you can’t even figure out if they have a little sense of humanity on them. With the duality from a big and little brother that have different perspectives of life, one a bit more innocent that tries to overcome the situation with a smile; The other sees the reality of whatever crazy thing is happening to them, while trying to escape the forest. The story is amazing, from the animation to the small details that actually make you understand the insight of the film. The end is emotional, and whoever wants a creepy moment should watch it. See more Herb S @RT33101333 Apr 21 I think anybody of any age can find this little gem enjoyable. I certainly did. No part of it was done poorly. All I can think of to say while I'm watching it is 'Wow! I'm having fun!'. See more Kalissa H. @kali_416 Apr 8 I loved this show. Episodes 2, 3, and 6 were great, as well as episodes 5 and 7.
