A group known as The Legacy battles the forces of evil and the paranormal in an effort to keep humanity from being destroyed. The team is made up of various members, including brilliant scholar Dr. Derek Rayne, psychiatrist Dr. Rachel Corrigan, researcher Alexandra "Alex" Moreau and former Navy SEAL Nick Boyle. The members of The Legacy search for and uncover a secret world of terror while trying to defend the world against evil and darkness. The first three seasons aired on Showtime before moving to Sci-Fi Channel for its final season.

Vincent F 12/30/2022 This show is a blast from the past, back when TV Shows focused on story, and tried to entertain people, not checking boxes and forcing things on the viewer. The show is a show of its time from the '90s trying to mimic an Buffy, X-Files, Tales from the Crypt or Friday the 13th the Series vibe. For the '90s the effects were pretty decent, but look cheesy by today's standards. Which is why the RT crew didn't rate it all that well, because most of them weren't even born when this show was out and really can't appreciate these things as they never lived through it and only know their iPhones and starbucks. I was in my late teens when this was out and I really enjoyed this show. It fed me lots ideas for writing for short stories or roleplaying games. IF you can find it, I'd say pop it in and enjoy a blast from the past. I will say watching this with 2022 eyes, that show pacing in the '90s was a lot slower then current tv shows.
