It appears James "Ghost" St. Patrick has it all -- a drop-dead gorgeous wife, a stunning Manhattan penthouse, and the power and success that come with owning hot new nightclub Truth. But a closer look reveals a man living a double life. When Ghost isn't tending to his Fortune 500 business, he's catering to clients of another operation: a drug empire that serves only the rich and influential. While loyal sidekick Tommy protects the cash-cow narcotics venture at all costs, Ghost's new reality is using Truth as more than a front to launder money. It's a way out of the drug game and into a legitimate life with his family, even if everything he loves becomes unknowingly threatened. "Power" is co-executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson (who also co-stars) and show creator Courtney Kemp Agboh ("The Good Wife").

Power Season 2 really takes off running with the character development laid down last summer. The performances are as strong as ever, and the spot-on music cues give the new season an incredible amount of momentum. Go to Full Review

I'm really excited about Power season two because it's longer and doesn't have to do as much heavy lifting as the first season. Go to Full Review

A ten month layoff has done nothing to slow down the chaos and intrigue that surrounds the major players of the criminal world on Starz's breakout hit. Go to Full Review

The real power of Power, though, is that... it's putting African-Americans at the heart of a TV trend - the antihero - that until now has largely been the province of white men. Go to Full Review

Power takes full advantage of its long leash on nudity, language and violence, resulting in a bloodier, grittier, more "adult" show than Empire. Go to Full Review

Judy F @Judy888 Sep 25 Fairly average gangster series but a good filler Some good acting by Ghost and Tommy good, Tasha and Holly ok, Angela reminds me of Megan Markle in Suits - always thought she was the weakest actor and Angela no better. Awful awful rap music See more Regal R Apr 9 82/100 - good show, solid acting but again, the gratuitous lewd scenes are terrible, unnecessary and annoying. the detract from the show. if i wanted to watch corn i would. See more T'ChallaFrizz` W 12/29/2022 A notable boost in quality compared to the first season. The point was approached quickly and had me locked in for the entire season, mainly improving on the show's initial pacing issues. With more plot points and arc progression for the characters, viewers truly grasp the overall concept of "Power." See more 08/09/2022 Even better than season 1! See more 08/28/2019 It's my binge right now. I love it and hate it. The violence Is over the top and is more shock than entertainment. Angela is a bit of a moron...Tommy is played so well and he's scary! Not sure James' character makes sense. 50 is pretty good. Fast-paced and addictive. See more 08/27/2019 Just a brilliant on the edge of your seat ride you struggle to get off See more Read all reviews
