Compared with this season’s recent action-packed, plot-forward chapters, “The Book of Quinn” stalls quite a lot, jumping between a half-dozen storylines without moving many of them along in a particularly gripping way.

Despite all my criticisms of the season, I am enjoying Silo tremendously. The performances are top notch and I am intrigued by both narratives, even if showrunner Graham Yost struggles to find the right balance between them.

[Walker's storyline]...completely undermines the character. [It's] another example of the S02 creative team stuffing things up in their haste and urgency to manufacture tension and conflict. That’s all it feels like: manufactured.
