Selection for the Special Forces is a test unlike any other. Celebrities from all genres take on -- and try to survive -- demanding training exercises led by directing staff agents, an elite team of ex-Special Forces operatives. In this unique series, the only way for these recruits to leave is to give up on their own accord, through failure or potential injury, or by force from the agents. Viewers see the recruits face the harshest of environments that simulate the highly classified selection process, pushing themselves in the ultimate test of their physical, mental and emotional resilience and revealing the celebrities' deepest and truest character.

This is more than just a group of celebrities assembled to win a pot of money, there’s actually some interesting storytelling going on with several of the competitors that’s honest and personal and the challenges are exciting to watch. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Jerry LEGO J @RT02283394 May 7 Interesting to see some of the tasks that need to be performed, but the interrogation sequence was a fail for me as the candidates should not fail for not giving up the info. That seems very opposite to reality. See more NASHVILLE I @Nshvlleindie 02/13/2025 As someone who hates Survivor and every other generic reality fitness show, I have to say Special Forces is a GREAT show! Why? Because the Staff are 100% authentic and unrelenting, but at the same time they have interesting personalities that shine through. They're seriously dedicated to the brutal nature of the training, but they're not screaming screaming screaming not some cliche. Not to mention, NO CELEBRITY gets excessive screen time, so nobody's put on a pedestal and allowed to steal the spotlight or anything. Absolutely great. After the bigger reality snobs rushed to S2 thinking they'd cash in like those in S1, season 3 definitely had a better batch of recruits who weren't nearly so entitled.
