Former Miami Heat dancer Traci Young-Byron runs the Young Contemporary Dance Theatre, which is the home of an elite dance company. For the members of her co-ed team, their biggest competition is one another -- each week, they dance to earn a coveted spot in a high-stakes performance. Young-Byron has a tough, no-nonsense approach to training her dancers in disciplines that include ballet, jazz, hip-hop and modern. Her competitiveness -- which is highlighted by a fierce rivalry with Miss D and the Dancing Dolls from companion Lifetime series "Bring It!" -- is at the core of her unconventional methods that help to motivate her team.
