The Pitt is so strong that it shows up the increasingly lazy habits of its TV peers: the assumption that audiences cannot grasp difficult dialogue, the constant exposition and recapping, and a reliance on sudden shocks over depth.

Fortunately The Pitt isn't just a PSA dressed up in scripted TV show clothing. It's a living, pulsating television organism that's incredibly gripping, often laugh-out-loud funny... and blessed with a massive cast of top-to-bottom excellent actors.

Loved every bit of Season 1, am enjoying season 2 (minus the heavy handed, misguided messaging). I know the intent of showing how many of the hospital staff was afraid of ICE is supposed to make us feel bad, but in reality, it points out how employers break the law and get away with it. The overall story/acting/all of it are fantastic though, so I can overlook it.

This is the my favorite medical drama I’ve ever watched. I wish more medical dramas were like this. Most try to be too all about the drama and intense, not saying the Pitt is not intense, but they touch on real world problems and do not over exaggerate. Also it’s of course the most accurate medical drama to date which is great to see.

The Pit up to mid season 2 was the best show on TV. Unfortunately the writers decided to throw their political one sided view and throw it up All over the show. Sad
