Kim H @RT98736841 09/02/2023 Overall id give 5 but 3 for Jay and one episode. The Repair shop is a brilliant emotive show, particularly when the jewish items arrived with memories and stories of jewish relatives being gassed and killed. However, i was especially moved by the Jewish prayer book, ive seen this episode several times as the book man is amazing and a gent. Jay on the other hand, I've noticed, after watching many episodes several times that although Jay is lovely, softly spoken and nods in the right places shows little or no emotion with any jewish items. Does he not think being torn away from family, watching family being gassed next to you, children torn from parents, stripped to the bones, starved, gassed to death and murdered is worth a bit more humanistic emotion other than a nod and a wink? Maybe he is being professional but recently thought a little more compassion. Particularly thinking of that jewish man with the prayer book. See more Read all reviews
