Thirteen would-be musical artists hit the road with hip-hop artist Missy Elliott in a competition in which the winner is signed to her record label. The contestants travel on a bus, following Elliott's tour, and take part in a number of tasks that give them an inside view of the music business. The winner walks away with $100,000 and a chance to cut a single for Elliott's label.
