The show's heart is huge and the writing is admirably sincere. Go to Full Review

One of the best things about The Wonder Years is how inarticulate [Kevin's] conversations can be, how what comes out of his mouth is so at odds with what is going on in his head. Go to Full Review

What The Wonder Years captured was the sense of wistfulness that accompanies the very best nostalgia. Go to Full Review
Jim Vorel Paste Magazine 11/01/2018
The show featured some of the best-developed characters of any sitcom, especially owing to the trademark narration by Daniel Stern, which examined all the events with the knowledge of age. Go to Full Review

It is however the normalcy of it all that makes the show so great, although nothing truly out of the ordinary happens it is the heart, soul emotions and humour that pour out of it that makes it ideal viewing for everybody. Go to Full Review

Still smile every time I watch the show See more 12/30/2018 Such a great show! Such a disappointing concluding season. The Wonder Years needed a season seven instead of cramming in a few shocking details about Kevin's life in the last thirty seconds. The average episode in season 6 wasn't a good as the others, which set a pretty high bar. I think seasons three and four were the high points; everything started to go downhill near the end of season five. The Wonder Years is an amazing show, but the creators could have spent more time on its final season. See more Read all reviews
