This documentary series, narrated by actor Santiago Cabrera, explores the remote lands of Patagonia. Three episodes capture extraordinary footage from the southernmost tip of South America that joins Argentina and Chile. The landscapes vary from volcanoes to deserts, and glaciers to the mountainous terrain of the Andes. Wildlife featured includes pumas hunting guanacos -- Patagonia's very own camels -- the world's smallest family of deer, the reproduction of Darwin's frogs, and the Jurassic forests replete with colorful birds. Local residents discuss life in Patagonia, the everyday struggles they face and the history behind their culture.
