Wynonna Earp has been away from her hometown, Purgatory, for years but returns to reluctantly take on the role that Wyatt Earp's heir is destined for -- demon protector. Her task is to take out Revenants, the resurrected souls of the criminals who were taken down at one time by her great-grandfather. Wynonna teams up with sister Waverly, agent Xavier Dolls and Doc Holliday, the cursed-with-immortality best friend of Wyatt Earp, as they work to stop the Revenants from taking over Purgatory and escaping into the world. The show is based on the graphic novel series of the same name.

The threats in the story are hellishly important and blood still runs aplenty in the premiere episode, but there is always that wink to the audience at the same time as the characters are grounded in genuine emotion.

It's still finds its balnce without any big bad but gives some great episodes n moments n satisfying n new beginning finale it's a shame the show ends this because many things things we would discover n explore more about the lore n more but it's one of the best tv n female lead show of all time ♥️😃🦸‍♂️💯👏👌💫

Enjoyed this series so much I watched a few of the episodes twice. Thought Scrofano, Anderson, Rozon, Lawson and Eklund were especially good in their characters. Would have liked to have seen Anderson kept in the show longer because his character was one of the most interesting. Liked that the series was based on Beau Smith's graphic novels. Thought the action was good but the romances were way overplayed.

I love wynonna earp in every way! The cast is amazing, the show is amazing, the writer is amazing. I hope one day they consider to give us a season 5 or a movie!

Consider season 4 to be a mercy killing of a series that started off pretty good actually through season 2, seemed to lose it's way in season 3 and then was just the worst kind of dribble and rubbish imaginable in season 4.
