Allan Carr created a name for himself as a producer with an eye for insightful films. He raised in Highland Park, Illinois. Starting his entertainment career producing for the silver screen, Carr's early credits included the comedy adaptation "The First Time" (1969) with Jacqueline Bisset and the action picture "C.C. and Company" (1970) with Joe Namath. Carr continued to focus on film through the seventies and the eighties, producing movies like the comedic adaptation "Grease" (1978) with John Travolta and "Can't Stop the Music" (1980). Carr then focused on film, producing the comedy sequel "Grease 2" (1982) with Maxwell Caulfield, "Cloak and Dagger" (1984) with Henry Thomas and the Lisa Hartman Black remake "Where the Boys Are '84" (1984). Carr last appeared on "Ann-Margret: Sugar and Spice" (1997-98). Carr passed away in June 1999 at the age of 62.
