Arike Ogunbowale
Born March 2, 1997, in Milwaukee, Wis., American basketball player Arike Ogunbowale first became a star when she played women's basketball for Notre Dame. Thanks in large part to her strong game and athletic skills, the team won the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament. Ogunbowale was also named Most Valuable Player in 2018. In addition, she has won numerous other awards and honors during the course of her college career, including NCAA Regional Most Outstanding Performer, Naismith Trophy Top-30, and WBCA All-Region Team. She is also a five-time medalist for USA Basketball, and has earned four gold medals and one silver one. In April 2018, it was announced that Ogunbowale would be joining the cast of Season 26 of "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC, 2005- ) as part of a special all-athlete competition.
