Max Haufler was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1938, he made his film acting debut in "Le règne de l'esprit malin." In 1958, he appeared in "It Happened in Broad Daylight." In 1966, he had his final acting role in "Money and Spirit." In 1937, he made his directorial debut with "Michael Kohlhaas." In 1950, he directed his final film, "Der Geist von Allenwil." Haufler began his career with a role in the dramatic adventure "Miracle of the White Stallions" (1963) with Robert Taylor. Haufler next focused his career on film, appearing in the Anthony Perkins dramatic adaptation "The Trial" (1963). Later in his career, Haufler acted in the Marlon Brando drama "Morituri" (1965). Haufler passed away in June 1965 at the age of 55.
