Toke Townley was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Townley started off his career in film with roles in the Dirk Bogarde comedy sequel "Doctor at Sea" (1955), "Carry On, Admiral" (1957) with David Tomlinson and "The Admirable Crichton" (1957). Townley next focused his career on film, appearing in "A Cry From the Streets" (1958) with Max Bygraves, the drama "Look Back in Anger" (1959) with Richard Burton and the dramatic adaptation "H.M.S. Defiant" (1962) with Alec Guinness. He also appeared in "The Chalk Garden" (1964) with Deborah Kerr. Later in his career, Townley acted in the Christopher Lee horror feature "The Scars of Dracula" (1970). Townley passed away in September 1984 at the age of 72.
