Veracia Ankrah

Veracia Ankrah primarily reports on music and culture. She is a self-described walking contradiction, a womanist and hip-hop enthusiast. She likes to think of herself as the hypothetical love child between Lauryn Hill, Living Single’s Maxine Shaw and Grey’s Anatomy’s Christina Yang. She graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor’s in Communications and Cultural Studies and has contributed to Complex Canada, Pitchfork, Exclaim!, Hot New Hip Hop, The National Post, and more.
