Feels like a low budget '70s affair even though it was released in 1980, with the 'little man' of Lee Majors struggling against the giant corporate conspiracy, but it's still a fun way to kill an afternoon.
Give it as rental.
Powerful group of like-minded individuals use an advertising agency to plant subliminal messages in commercials to meet their agenda goals such as keeping "knee-jerk liberals" out of office. I always liked Majors and this is a solid outing even if the sublimal images added to the commercials seemed cartoonish.
Sinister dealings at an ad agency incorporating subliminal messages in adverts to achieve goals of, among other things, removing knee-jerk liberals from office. Demonstration of actual subliminal message is anti-climatic in what appears to be the worst deodorant commercial ever produced.
I Enjoyed The Lameness. Especially The Gay Go-Go Club In Your Face From The Very First Scene..It's Got That WTF? Aspect To It That Just Sets The Whole Movie Up For A 'So Bad It's Good' Kinda Feel. Haha.
