Until now, Zak Gibbs' greatest challenge has been to find a way to buy a car. But when he discovers an odd wristwatch amidst his father's various inventions and slips it on -- something very strange happens. The world around him seems to come to a stop, everything and everybody frozen in time. Zak quickly learns how to manipulate the device and he and his quick-witted and beautiful new friend, Francesca, start to have some real fun.

If I were 13, I might be sufficiently entranced by the movie's bicycle stunts ... and wouldn't be wondering why ideas for science fiction films haven't progressed very far from Star Trek's first seasons all those decades ago.

Clockstoppers sounds like a fun, high-concept idea, but the execution is where it really falls apart. The movie leans heavily on its time-freezing gimmick without thinking through the logic, creating plot holes that are hard to ignore. Characters make baffling decisions, and the stakes never feel real because the rules of this "stopped time" world are so inconsistent. The tone is another issue—it can’t decide if it wants to be a light teen comedy or a serious sci-fi thriller, and ends up being neither. The acting is flat across the board, and the villains feel more cartoonish than threatening. Even the pacing drags despite a relatively short runtime. In the end, it’s a cool concept wasted on sloppy writing and lackluster execution. 2/10.

This movie is much better than people give it credit for. Yes, it's a corny early 2000's movie, but it was made for preteens/young teens. I absolutely loved it as a kid, and now it holds a lot of nostalgia for me

I WISH I Could give this. 0 stars. Cause this, is a cashgrab. Now, I'm not a fan of Nickelodeon Movies, but this movie is the bottom of the barrel. Do NOT Watch Clockstoppers under any circumstances.
