Frans B @FransB 5d Very good, despite reviews. Very dark humor and sly wit. Well written and directed. Good cinematography and visually pleasing. Stellar cast might be underutilized but convincing in character nonetheless. Reminds me of Fargo where everybody is clueless and shortsighted, in their own eyes, hilarious. Enough drama, melodrama, cluelessness, trivialities, nonsensical stupidity, tomfoolery, some suspense, emotion, dilemma and intrigue. Any movie that casts Yugos as a prop in nearly every scene is worth a watch. Excellent cast. It’s a small town version and precursor to "knives out"… lots, deception, dysfunction and humor. In an age where everyone is on their phone WHILE they watch a movie, this is worth putting the phone down and listening and watching. Love the song selection throughout. Excellent directing.
