Duk ga si oi (Marriage With a Fool) Reviews

  • Nov 08, 2011

Kong is back with his basic romantic love movie made in Hong Kong. Maintaining the use of the lead consist of the teen idols and rumoured screen lovers Stephy and Alex. "Marriage with a fool", the titles pretty much explains part of the show. Whereby a young couple got married. Husband then got in to a big fight with wife and finds comfort with another girl. As expected, they divorce and both goes seperate ways and moved on with life with their other half. Kong's signature twisted ending which will definately show you the other side of love. The question of loyalty, reaccurance will definately pops up in the audience mind. Now, will everything ever be the same again? Cats will always be cats?? They always loves fishes don't they?

I saw big generation gap, if this was said to be contemporary young people's romance portrayal.

Does this movie want to tell the audience that marriage is only cheating? And nothing else? The storyline is not smooth also. It is quite odd that Alex Fong lived with Josephine after Stephy's leave while he seemed not so willing to do so. And it is quite surprising that in the end they cheat to each other.

A well calculated movie with lots of advertisements inside. The story is ok but the cutting is too raw.

was a good film, just comes to show how things can snowball from one small argument. i thought the ending was quiet sad, even though the tried hard to get back together they keep on lying to each other. loved the bit where they guys raced the girls home.

the sequels that followed pretty much sucked... but this one wasnt that bad actually! but u can feel how 作狀 the director is lor... hmm... always twisting the stories to create some "surprises", but u can tell he tried very hard -_-"

Realistic enough...luved stephy n alex. Great acting, very natural. The storyline was bittersweet, iit was sweet especially the ending (chasing taxi).
