It's a very quiet film, but a charming one. The particulars are dated (it features everything a pregnant woman should not do), but the story of two generations struggling to come to a middle ground will always be relevant.
JUDY HOLLIDAY IS A DELIGHT, AS SHE ALWAYS IS. A FINE STORY, WELL ACTED BY EVERYONE. ONE OF RICHARD CONTE'S BEST ROLES.
