Gibson H @Gibbo24 Jun 5 British comedy can easily make me laugh but unfortunately this movie solely relies on gross out humour and sex jokes. I laughed a few times, mainly when it was being satirical about celebrities but nothing to make me roll on the floor. The story is nothing to ride home about and also doesn't work because I cannot see Mark Strong and Sacha Baron Cohen as brothers. Sacha is putting on this very strong accent but Mark Strong sounds very normal compared to the flashbacks where the child actor put on an accent. It just made him seem very uninterested. The editing is also an absolute mess. They try to get fancy with the action by integrating these POV shots but there are so many cuts that it makes your eyes hurt. It also felt as if this movie was desperately trying to end because some of the cuts come way too quick. Overall Grimsby was a very disappointing comedy with basic gross out humour and characters that are not that entertaining or interesting.
