After lying in a coma for a year, Michael Myers (Donald L. Shanks) awakens and stalks his way back to his small hometown in Illinois, intent on killing his niece, Jamie (Danielle Harris), who has been confined to a mental institution since Michael's last attempt to slay her. Suspecting a psychic link between Michael and Jamie, psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence) joins forces with Sheriff Ben Meeker (Beau Starr) and attempts to stop Michael's latest rampage.

Halloween 5 sure is something... They kill off Rachel in the most disrespectful way possible... The way they get rid of the plot point from the end of Halloween 4 of Jamie becoming The Shape is the most lazily done thing ever... Tina, while I don't dislike her and actually think she's underrated, is not a good replacement for Rachel... While Loomis's progression as a character is realistic, I don't like it when he's yelling at Jamie and abusing her... I could go on, but we'd be here all day long... Only things I like are Mikey and Spitz's kills, and the laundry chute scene.

Jamie Lloyd’s storyline adds emotional stakes, but the execution often feels rushed or underdeveloped, leaving key motivations and plot threads unresolved. Michael Myers remains intimidating in moments, yet the film fails to sustain the tension needed for true horror. Entertaining in brief bursts for franchise fans, but ultimately inconsistent, Halloween 5 is a middling sequel that satisfies only in fragments.

Somehow they made the mask worser than Halloween 4’s and somehow this movie is rated more than Halloween 6 which makes me pretty upset how sh*T this movie is only thing I like here is Dr loomis
