High-school history teacher Richard Clark (Jon Lovitz) leaves the prestigious Wellington Academy and heads to inner-city Marion Barry High. As someone who has taught in similar schools, I thought it exaggerated very real problems facing the students who go there. Having a teacher like this who cares and believes in them can be a game changer. Believe it or not, but the teaching philosophy of John Lovitz’s character is absolutely very real and very effective. This realism heightened the overall comedic value.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, esse filme faz paródias de filmes como mentes perigosas, the deep hunter, e outras paródias, as cenas foram fracas, cenas aa paródias salvaram o filme, se não fosse pelas paródias o filme seria ruim.
