Great actors... dissapointing movie

"Jacknife" is not a bad film -- it simply fails to say anything new about the post-Vietnam experience.

Audience Reviews for Jacknife

Two great actors and two great performances in a very solid Vietnam War movie nobody remembers, perhaps because Robert De Niro already did his share in The Deer Hunter. It is Ed Harris who steals the show, though.

Michal Januszewski
Michal Januszewski

The internal struggle of dealing with past experiences and overcoming trauma makes this movie very compelling.

Andrew vonNagy

A tense, brooding picture with three terrific actors giving entirely credible performances. Harris is especially dynamic as a man paralyzed by his past.
