Aimless David Rice (Hayden Christensen) has the ability to instantly transport himself to any place he can imagine. He uses that gift to globe-trot, living on money he steals by "jumping" into bank vaults. He's captured by the evil Roland Cox (Samuel L. Jackson), who knows how to keep David from jumping. David escapes and reunites with his high school crush, Millie (Rachel Bilson), then forms an alliance with fellow jumper Griffin (Jamie Bell) and prepares for mortal combat with Cox.

After so many bad reviews I went in to this not expecting much but yet again I found myself enjoying it, A pretty good story but the plot is same old stuff, The effects were ok but the ending was very lackluster, Not greatly acted and a few plot holes don't help things but its run time is short and it's an easy watch but nothing memorable.

Another Hollywood stupid comercial picture, trying to bring young characters and they problems, but that have big sucessful lives as subject, a very cliche subject.

Poor chemistry, under-developed story and unconvincing performance made the film incoherent with its audience. Doug Liman's attempt at a sci-fi blockbuster fails to make a leap and instead crashes. 1/5

I just couldn't bring myself to like this film. could of been interesting but the direction and overall storyline was a little to much to deal with. possible franchise never takes off
