It's difficult to keep track of what's happening now and what's already occurred, and there are very few answers to any of the plot points, making it more of a frustrating chore than it should be. See more Randall C @RMC15 Jan 19 One of the most forced rushed ridiculously thin plots i have ever had the displeasure of viewing. Student film actors over delivering emotions as if it’s their last chance to be on screen. There was humor towards the end as the characters masked such serious looks about something so lame. Clickbait was clever — guy combusting into flames in preview. Even that part of the film was yawn inspiring. The narration and tone was so serious as if they were reporting on child trafficking…not alien worms that come out of bad acting and bad makeup. I fast forwarded the last 20 minutes. Obviously the movie is propped on Producers credits (guys from Endless) but I have honest to God been more disturbed over expired food than this film in its entirety. You kinda want to know what is happening, so you just keep watching it. During the third arch, things get too over-the-top, and some special effects were kinda shitty to a point they lowered the movie's quality. But it's a overall scary and interesting movie See more Moira K @M.Buff Dec 26 It certainly had me hooked within the first few minutes, and I then continued watching to the very end, not knowing if this was in the brother's head, or it was real, until someone started taking him seriously. I found it quite a bit of a mind bender, as well. One very creepy thing was that most strange parts were recorded, so they could all be revisited over and over again. It appeared as though a trick was being performed, but not far into the film, that thought was questioned, which made most wonder what was actually happening. Some gorey scenes, but it's horror and I wouldn't describe those as over the top (compared to some films, where NOTHING is left to your imagination). Highly recommended for anyone who loves a bit of an unexplained scare with a reasonable storyline, as well as some seriously mindbending factors to add to it. See more Read all reviews
