One of the strongest aspects of the documentary is hearing from people who actually knew and worked with him. Their perspectives make the film feel more personal and sincere rather than just another celebrity documentary filled with surface-level information. The pacing is steady, and the documentary remains engaging throughout its runtime. Fans of Michael Jackson will especially appreciate the focus on his musical achievements and influence on pop culture. Overall, it’s a well-made and respectful documentary that works as both an introduction and a reflection on his career. I’d rate it a 7/10—informative, interesting, and worth watching for music fans. This is a documentary and is so moving and remarkable. See more 09/06/2018 Revealing but overlong. With close friends and family supporting the innocence and talent of one of the greatest performers ever and also one that was heavily persecuted, this documentary provides clarity to those of us who were misguided by the promoters of the scandals he was involved in. It would have been a great deal if it would not have lasted so long, filled with unnecesary and repetitive praises, specially for the first half of the documentary. More Michael's music and concert footage from his solo career would have complemented the documentary's main statement making it more refreshing for us all.
