Strange but extremely watchable western re-imagining of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. Scripted by Douglas' wife and starring directed by Kirk Douglas. This was one of two directorial efforts by Douglas. The plot is a bit uneven at times but it's got plenty of entertainment value to make up for it. Should be on DVD and / or Blu-Ray.

Needs to be seen to be believed. A western, musical version of Treasure Island, shot in Yugoslavia, directed by Kirk Douglas, who also mugs it up as the Long John Silver figure. Truly bizarre!
