Critic Consensus: Snatched has a pair of terrifically talented stars, but their presence isn't enough to compensate for this rote comedy's threadbare plot and scattershot laughs.

Critic Reviews for Snatched
An exhausted dead end for a type of comedy that Schumer and Lena Dunham, in particular, became famous for in the last decade.
Snatched is a trip very much like the one it portrays: one that, in the end, does a pretty poor job of putting the "fun" in "unrefundable."
This mother-daughter comedy is flimsy for sure, but watching the dynamic comic duo of Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer mix it up on screen is not be sniffed at. They're rock stars.
Audience Reviews for Snatched
I like the leads. Quite literally, it was for them to make me not like them, and they couldn't do it. And beyond the leads were the supporting cast, and I liked them as well, Sykes, Cusack, Barinholtz et al. Funny? Eh. But a vacation wherein I got kidnapped and had a better time than I had planned? Yes.
The main cast is exhaustingly unfunny, but Snatched earns bonus points for its great ensemble of side characters who provoke some genuinely good laughs.
I think having a low expectation helped me enjoy this film more than I should of, Yes it's predictable and never leaves the comedy comfort zone, It did have a few laughs nothing memorable though but by a Amy Schumer standard it's what we come to expect from her.
