Seductive vampire Selene (Kate Beckinsale) and renegade werewolf Michael (Scott Speedman) love one another, but find themselves abhorred by the members of their own clans. The digital critters look much better than in the first film, it's fun seeing Derek Jacobi and Bill Nighy vamp it up, and the sight of Kate in that suit makes it worth squinting through all the murk.

Thus to bury the talent for cinematic achievement in composition which this film is and which conjured a third & nontoogrim reason that preceded amiably a liking to the film and this review would be unsurprisingly dismal.

En lo personal, siento que esta película no estuvo a la altura de la primera. Pienso que eso se debe a que se involucraron muchos aspectos y eso la volvió demasiado caótica y no dió el ancho ya que, como bien dicen, el que mucho abarca poco aprieta. Aún así, cuenta con la excepcional actuación por parte de Kate Beckinsale y unas increíbles escenas y movimientos extraordinarios que caracterizan a su personaje, simplemente unas coreografías maravillosas. Considerando que la vara estaba muy alta con la primera entrega, por lo que las expectativas también lo estaban y eso fue el problema aquí. La recomiendo a todo aquel que ya haya empezado la franquicia y le interesen las películas de fantasía sobre vampiros y hombres lobos. No es la mejor, pero está bien para pasar el rato.

Ok, I guess this series just isn't gonna get any love from the critics= but the audience really likes it and so do I. The first was awesome, this was just as good. A keeper for your collection for sure.
