Highly underrated, I simply Ioved this sweet, crazy and original movie. Steve Carrel acting is just superb and the direction of Robert Zemeckis reminded me his old glories such as Forrest Gump or Cast Away.

I've been wanting to see this since it was first advertised. And, while I think it was a very well put together film, I can see why it bombed at the box office. It just wasn't all that entertaining. A good story, though. Just not enthralling.

Just used this film as an example of "bait and switch" (Roofman) for what's advertised as a comedy, and turns out to be an Indy drama, not at all what was expected, and if the trailer did the actual film any justice to represent what it is, it would have a very small audience indeed, and rightfully so. No thank you.
