Aftertaste has a lot on its plate. It's a character-driven comedy with a compelling dramatic arc and something serious to say about the world we live in. But, crucially, it is also very funny. Go to Full Review

Suzy R @RT87352287 01/10/2025 I can only hope this isn’t being released outside Australia or we will be viewed as crass and vulgar. What a waste of a good cast. See more Alan M @RT07378434 01/02/2023 Quirky characters, humour and storyline. See more Judy F @Judy888 07/19/2022 Hilarious and clever. Showcasing how to serve fine food in an Adelaide Hills winery with quirky family misfits See more 07/03/2022 Having watched this first season, I'm left a little unsure as to where the writers were trying to take this story but it's amusing and entertaining enough to watch. See more 06/19/2022 A laugh out loud, witty, dry humored dark comedy. Erik Thompson is brilliant as the self centered, egotistical Michelin starred chef who would make Gordon Ramsay blush. Bridges burned, Easton West must return to his home town and unsympathetic family to redeem himself. Wonderful support cast and witty dialog makes this work on so many levels. See more 04/14/2022 You cannot birth a sustainable series from a main character with such a hateful, unsustainable nature. People don't voluntarily live around angry, unstable people who constantly yell at them at the drop of a hat -- ANY hat -- and then make loud impossible demands of the people who didn't cause the problem in the first place. The writers better grab a pair of ViceGrips and yank that king-size bug out of Easton's ass before starting Season 2. I don't care HOW they do it -- a brick drops on his head, he takes an Anger Management class, he learns the truth about his mother -- just DO IT! See more Read all reviews
