As the human population increases, so too do the deadly encounters people are having with animals whose natural habitats seem to be shrinking. In "Beast Tracker," marine biologist Andrew West is on a mission to capture these animals and figure out ways to reduce the death toll. He visits Florida, home to more than 1 million alligators, to discover the cause of so much conflict between man and alligator, and in Louisiana he learns about an approach that aids both alligator conservation but stems overpopulation. Also, in his home state of Hawaii, West investigates one of the islands' biggest killers, the tiger shark, and in Texas he comes face to face with feral pigs, which are terrorizing communities and threatening human health.
