Jon Meier is using his skills as an aeronautical engineer in a unique way. Instead of designing the latest aircraft, he's thinking outside the box by building homes out of shipping containers. Capitalizing on the popularity of tiny living, John converts the containers into unique, functional and structurally sound dwellings. He and his wife, Kristen, who balances Jon's practical, modern designs with stylish decor and rustic design finishes, work out of a 20,000-square-foot barn in Needville, Texas.
