Rob Thomas ("Veronica Mars") retools his critically acclaimed but low-rated 1998-99 romantic comedy about Trevor Pierce, a colorful personality who keeps insisting to his psychologist, Dr. Claire McCrae, that he is the Roman god of love, Cupid. Claire, who also loves to help people find their soulmates, isn't entirely convinced by Trevor's claims, but enough odd coincidences occur to make her realize there is probably more to Trevor than meets the eye.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

An uneventful retread of the original failed series, Cupid forces a few heart-tugs but is generically plotted and simply uninteresting.

Cupid seems a bit watered down but there is definitely something sweet about the show that could charm viewers, especially those of us who will be missing the charming but cancelled Pushing Daisies quite a bit come next year. Go to Full Review
