While Delirium isn't overtly misogynistic, it doesn't challenge old tropes either. The show does a good job looking and feeling like the past—but that doesn't mean it shouldn't take the opportunity to subvert outdated characterizations of women. Go to Full Review

Even though the drama in Delirium mostly revolves around one character, that character is very layered and complex. Go to Full Review

The performances from the cast of Delirium are sort of the only saving grace here. Juan Pablo Urrego, in the role of Midas, is simply phenomenal. Go to Full Review

Delirium is, I think, a case of a show’s reach exceeding its grasp. Go to Full Review

Delirium has some merit in its impressive visuals and use of steamy romance, but it lacks depth in its characters and story that's desperately needed. Go to Full Review

Johann D. M @Johann33 Aug 8 🇨🇴 ¡¡¡TRÁGICA E INTENSA!!! See more Maria S C @RT56414494 Jul 23 I believe the series is exceptionally well crafted even if a bit slow paced. It adeptly explores various facets of reality that many would prefer to avoid, particularly in the realm of mental health. It delves into the losses people endure, the secrets families harbor, the shame, and the unspeakable truths that often remain hidden. The main character is portrayed with remarkable depth, embodying her contradictions, her pain, and her outsider status. While the portrayal of narcotrafficking may sometimes seem clichéd, it powerfully reflects the tragic realities faced by countries like Colombia. The series presents this issue in a way that highlights the stark contrast between greed and basic human needs, illustrating how both affluent families and those from impoverished backgrounds can become ensnared in the trade. The depiction of a man who knows how to love, yet is engulfed in despair, is particularly poignant. The comparison between two mothers (Valentina's v. Mida's) is revealing of how notably social classes have different values. The quality of the imagery and performances is outstanding, with a thoughtful use of color and carefully constructed scenarios that vividly illustrate the disparities among social classes. I was especially impressed by the way the main character's hippie sensibilities are expressed through her choice of colors and lighting, adding a unique layer to her personality. The book and the series are delirious. Fragmented. Dark. Raw. Intimate. See more Read all reviews
