It is at once more violent and more poignant. Go to Full Review

B-
Now that the stage is set, Golan The Insatiable has more space to let its characters play more - even if that means actual death and dismemberment for anyone who gets in their way. Go to Full Review

12/17/2017 Brilliant show, but has the potential to be something even greater. See more 11/12/2016 S2 is definitely an improvement upon S1, but it still has issues. Particularly some ham-fisted morals and bending to some really annoying cliches (popular rich girl stereotypes, etc). It does do a lot of unexpected things though, and personally I think it's one of the more enjoyable adult cartoons in recent years. No Bojack Horseman or Rick and Morty, but I would take it over Family Guy any day. I think it deserves more love than it's getting at this point. See more 08/10/2015 A show that never realized its full potential besides 2 great episodes a very forgettable show that has good acting but could've been so much more Grade: B See more 07/21/2015 season 2 i a big F you to the first season and attempts to rewrite the plot while acting like it wants to be family guy. I don't even think it's cannon but that's what networks do I guess, they did it with the new teen titans and they'll do it with this cartoon, it seems that all networks are destroying stories of their show's predecessors just to make them more "hip" and appealing to a younger audience. If you haven't seen season 1 then it can be a mediocre to slightly above mediocre season/series (if you consider the channel jump a change in series) but if you have seen season one watch at your own risk because it'll be like watching season 1 if it was rewritten by edgy wannabe emo kids who try too hard and don't understand the difference between scary or disgusting (it destroys the whole fear/disturbing aspect of season 1 and replaces it with disgust and weirdness) designed for a family guy audience, wait no I mean a fox audience because that's all it is now (yes I know adhd was owned by fox, but everyone has to admit comparing the audiences is like comparing Harry Potter fans and NASCAR fans) all in all it's pretty mediocre for a second season. we can, no should only hope that the last episode is a dream plot-twist. and some advise for show creators, don't commit fully to a story going as far as to make an epic-like story then turn around and back stab them for a story for edgy wannabe emo kids who don't know shit about good writing. You know what I'd even go as far as calling it a Teen Titans Go quality rip-off. fuck this show. OK now that the bad's gone time for the good the first good thing I'd say is that it gives more life to the characters and is arguably more involved in their lives and the lives of the townsfolk. I even loved the episode 6 Keith and Dillon friendship before her sister took that from her story, most of it would make a good pre-episode 2 first season flashback like story but I'll tear each episode so far piece by piece right now Winter Is Staying: Again it has a good story which adds a bit more life to the characters but falls short as it tries to (like you'll see in a lot of the season 2 episodes) humanize Golan, a fucking giant with demon-esque powers , I appreciate that it gives life an all and it's well animated like a lot of season 2 episodes (but lets face it Golan was always well animated) but it like a lot of fucking tv shows they try to fucking be as fucking edgy as possible by dropping as much "swear words" as possible (Ironic swearing lol) it's like they expect us every time they swear, which they rarely if never swore in the first to my recollection, they want us to go ohhhhhhh he they swore on national tv. Well newsflash we don't really care it's not like you're doing something possibly millions of other shows have done. Shame on Pee: Still given life to the people although I don't think Golan would be this much of a dick to his acolyte. oh and btw it in season 1 it didn't seem like Golan cared about Kieth just thinking of him to be a random nun chuck delivery guy at first. Also Swiggly (did I spell that right??? lol) Shell Raiser: I liked it, it was probably the first time in the series, except the pilot which I'm not reviewing, that I actually thought "hey this seems like the Dylan I know" Also it plays on Dylan's pseudo-intelligence which she seems somewhat smart but it's kind of like a reminder that "hey she's still a kid" On Golan Pond: Going into this review I told myself that I wasn't going to bring up the fact that they killed Dylan's dad just to have a plot point they can bring up most of the episodes, but I have to bring it up when this joke seems like something Seth McFarlane would write, this episode can be summed up by one joke in this episode "Robot aids." Also encase the writers didn't know, It's not best to just give a character an enhanced scense whenever it suits you to further a plot but then again I guess it kinda works knowing how pseudo-advance her mind is, I mean she can make a weapon out of rubber bands but she cant read lol. btw the review is meant to be compared to the first season, not the standalone show Golan the Inpregnable: The name says it all, I'll dye by slitting my wrists before I review this garbage, the fucking Muslim joke, just wow fox, at least their family guy conversi... I mean Idiot money steali... I mean sale method *wink* is working. But when I see shows like this I'm just happy it's not happening to the Simpsons See more 07/19/2015 where the fuck do i get a warlord no really i want one too, where do i get a copy of this book to do this shit i need one See more 06/02/2015 just watched the first episode of this show and i personaly thought it was fun and funny sweet at times not for young kids but older kids and up and their parents can learn a lo t from these two its kinda kike one completes the other Dylan needs a male role model and a friend while golan just needs a friend i suggest teens and up try try this show its really pretty cool just agin no younger kids See more Read all reviews
