This cinematically impressive series takes viewers into Alaska, specifically to two of the state's most well-known national wildlife refuges, areas set aside to conserve the nation's last natural landscapes and the wildlife that inhabits them. Rangers, biologists and interns at the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge work tirelessly to protect the beautiful lands, natural resources, and amazing creatures like black and brown bears, wolves, caribou, ptarmigan and lynx. The teams also work to control invasive species that are threatening the ecosystem.
