As colored balls numbered 1 to 75 are selected from a transparent sphere, a contestant tries to guess whether each ball will bear a higher or lower number than the one that preceded it. If he is correct, the number on the ball is added to his score. His goal is to reach 500 points before any studio audience members complete "BINGO" on their card. If they do, the contestant goes home empty-handed. Viewers at home can play along by printing out free cards at the ABC.com Web site.
