06/23/2022 I just finished watching episode one and thoroughly enjoyed. I am baffled why others are trying to compare him to Anthony Bourdain. I don't recall him professing to be similar. Liking Nomad in no way mean that you are being disloyal to Anthony‘s memory. It was truly refreshing to see parts of Paris I never knew existed. I have visited France many times and only visit the same tourist areas. Had I known, I would have ventured out more. I look forward to to seeing the next episode and learning even more. See more 06/07/2022 Absolutely incredible, knowledgable, not only in culinary aspects, but also brings in the history of the city, and tops it with wine and wit! Extremely well spoken, humble and gracious! Hopefully there will be more in the future. Happy Travels, Margaret See more 05/28/2022 no way this guy can make up for Anthony Bourdain. I feel insulted that CNN would hand up a "replacement" show so close to the loss of Anthony and think we would be happy. This Nomad doesn't have the gift of gab nor empathy, just likes to discuss his own background," yeah me too, just like you." Mostly, we can't feel the world through his lens...nothing to learn about the world with him, no tenderness of understanding. Probably a great guy...this show is just not a fit for him. See more 05/19/2022 Waste of time. McCoy is a self-absorbed bore. We continually hear about McCoy's deprived childhood growing up in SE D.C. Do not need to hear it over and over and over especially considering his early and meteoric rise and the many generous opportunities afforded him. It is not a wonder that, despite major achievements, he can't keep a job for long. He is not sympathetic, empathetic, authentic, nor likable nor one someone can identify with. He is not even the merest of substitutes for Anthony Bourdain. Dump this loser. See more 05/19/2022 After being used to Anthony Bourdain, this boring young "hipster" has big shoes to fill. I tried to watch the first two episodes and eventually became bored and surfed on. The people he's seeing and the action he's portraying is just not interesting. See more 05/18/2022 It's a great concept with not-so-great execution. Travel TV is not dead, but unfortunately there's not enough story or pizazz with this show to keep coming back.
