More clues, more characters, more hidden abilities and more plot twists are served up -- and if none is brilliantly innovative, the whole is fast enough and fun enough to get away with it. Go to Full Review

Audiences have had enough of the churn of movie sequels and their declining quality. But shows like this are well-crafted enough, adult enough, and just about original enough, to offer a deserved moment of reprieve. Go to Full Review

Spider-Noir is as much a tribute to the golden era of sleuthing flicks as it is to caped crusaders getting their tights in a twist. Go to Full Review

The result really shouldn’t work; it’s way too over the top and cliche, almost like a parody at times, but somehow through sheer charisma, Cage sells it. Go to Full Review

Dimitri A @dajazi 15m The negative criticisms are right. Shockingly original? Nope. Full of continuity with other Spider-Man series? Nope. Great casting with Nic Cage? No again. But everything hangs together well anyway. The series proves that originality isn't necessary for entertainment. Continuity is a silly complaint, as comics have for decades now disregarded same. Just look at the endless Batman series. And Nic Cage's age really shows. But Season 1 is still _fun,_ its characters and actors are endearing, and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is always fun. Kudos also for the scenery, cinematography and screen costumes. My one complaint is that all of Season 1 got dumped at once. Such is Amazon Prime Video's MO. Releasing only one episode per week is more effective when a series is this entertaining. See more Pat B @RT85658575 18m Spider-Noir delivers exactly what its title promises: a moody, hard‑boiled superhero detective story wrapped in shadowy alleys, jazz‑soaked bars, and rain‑slicked streets. Nicolas Cage leans all the way into the role, turning every line into a crackling mix of wry humor and world‑weary grit that gives the show a distinct personality even when the plotting treads familiar territory. The cinematography, period production design, and smoky score all work together to evoke classic noir cinema while still embracing the kinetic, comic‑book energy you expect from a Spider‑title. If the story sometimes feels more like a clever genre pastiche than something truly profound, the brisk pacing, sharp dialogue, and sheer charisma on display make it an easy, enjoyable binge that earns its five‑star rating. See more Shawna D. @Beanieboo 31m Had high hopes but this series is a snooze fest. I truly do not understand all of the shining reviews. See more David D. @FrostyXP 44m Wow, this show is awesome! See more Ezequiel S @RT12970395 1h Spider-Noir starring Nicolas Cage looks genuinely exceptional because it dares to be different in a superhero genre flooded with repetitive formulas and lifeless CGI spectacle. Set in a dark 1930s New York, the series embraces a noir atmosphere filled with corruption, shadows, violence, and emotional weight, giving Spider-Man a far more mature and grounded identity. What makes it especially exciting is Nicolas Cage himself. His performance in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse proved he perfectly understands the character’s strange mix of deadpan humor, mystery, and tragic exhaustion. Cage brings intensity, charisma, and unpredictability in a way very few actors can. See more F Z @RT37679497 1h Such a strange choice for lead actor on a Spider-Man TV show, but somehow.. it works!
