It's an unsettling yet absorbing portrait of ambition, identity, and the price of success, focusing on a woman who constructs her own moral code to survive, and whose story is hard to forget. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Kris T @RT65664436 3d It was a very enjoyable story with twists and turns, plenty of colourful characters and nice performances. It felt like a fictional drama rather than a biography for the most part, which shows how compelling the plot was. The main criticisms, that the frequent Yakuza mentions were almost completely white-washed from the screen, and all of the music selected was absolutely cheesy trash American pop, with only one short piece composed for effect. Also, the actress who played Chiyoko had singing ability whatsoever, and was completely monotone- not a great choice for that, but otherwise the cast was terrific. See more Read all reviews
